Sarah Brinkley tells us, "Greetings! After a rather varied early adulthood, I've lived in
Juneau, Alaska since 1987. Have two amazing long-haired daughters, Laurel (days
shy of 10) & Jasmine (12), both going on 16, who are into gymnastics, singing
and art. This summer we three bought our first house and are having a grand
time growing petunias, watching hummingbirds, cleaning gutters, designing the
perfect raised veggie garden out back, and making the place Ours in various
personally significant ways. I continue to work as the fiscal administrator &
operations section head for the Alaska state government's Division of Behavioral
Health. Between parenting, work and the new responsibilities of home/yard
ownership, leisure time's a scarcity, but I manage to kindle fires with longtime
beau Geoff Harben and fill occasional quiet evenings carrying on a rich online
