Johnny Larsh, legendary DJ from the class of 1963, known as "Big Jack Armstrong," died March 22, 2008, at his home in High Point, NC.
A non-traditional memorial service will be held Friday, March 28, at Cumby Funeral Services, 1015 Eastover Drive, High Point, NC. Telephone: 336 889 5045. His three daughters would like attendees to make short remarks about their dad if they are so moved. In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to the VFW, a charity dear to his heart, or to the charity of one's choice. An informal get together (dutch treat) will follow at a local restaurant if anyone wants to come and talk some more after the service. The obituary notice should appear March 27 in the Greensboro News and Record.
